Pomegranate — one of the most trusted names in jigsaw puzzles — presents “The Peaceable Kingdom”, a 1000-piece Artpiece Puzzle. This gorgeous puzzle has only been put together once, so it's in like-new condition. Its 1000 interlocking pieces are made of heavy-duty chipboard and fit together tightly. As with all of our jigsaw puzzles, it is 100% complete.The beautiful artwork depicted is by Quaker painter Edward Hicks (1780-1849). In the foreground, leopards, a lion, an eagle, a bear, and a wolf co-exist peacefully with a lamb, a goat, an ox, and several children in illustration of the utopian future described in the Biblical book of Isaiah: “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb; and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and a young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.” In the background, a group of European colonists — including William Penn — are presenting a treaty to the Lenape Indians, from whom Penn bought land near Philadelphia for 1200 pounds.

with all of its pieces sealed inside a Ziploc bag. The equally colorful box is in excellent condition too.
Our home is smoke free, but we do have dogs.
