Born in Michigan, she moved to Florida as a young child where she now lives on the beach. She has been in art from the time she could hold a crayon. She is always eager to learn new techniques and methods,always creating new works, for her to be buried in a form of art is a means of life. In her words: I feel my works, which are all my own originals, are an expression of my inspiration and excitement for life. I love to create and develop new techniques enjoy bright colors, love abstract as well as Impressionist art. In the past, I did more realistic images, I now look beyond that with excitement to find the illusions of color that lie in the abstract images that I paint. I use professional quality acrylic paints on acid-free canvas with gallery wrapped edges. Prior to shipping, I apply several coats of crystal clear varnish that is a museum formulated product, this provides a permanent, protective sealant to the painting, so it will last for years and years to come.
