Description:Very nice early RAILROAD MEMORABILIA porcelain advertising sign for the
FRANKLIN JUNCTION RAILROAD STATION
that was located in Franklin, NH in the late 1800's / early 1900's. One of possibly as many as four made for the railroad station, there may have been a sign on each side of the station, and most likely the only survivor. Colors are white on cobalt blue with great gloss and medium shelving. The reverse shows that this is a very early sign and it even has the original label however it is almost impossible to make out. The mounting board may be original although it is hard to tell since it has been painted a few times. It adds stability to the sign ( keeping it for flexing and protects the edges from damage).

This would be a great sign to hang over your Franklin Auto collections and displays.

Size: 8' x 10 1/2" ( size is for the signs dimensions, not the boards ).

Condition: Very good condition with three areas of porcelain loss on lower mounting holes. I have provided several photos for review. Also the last photos were taken ( sign mounted on building ) before I cleaned years of grime off the surface. Photos of the sign separately are how it look now, VERY NICE!
