GULF PORSCHE 917K of PEDRO RODRIGUEZ

powersliding through the "La Source" hairpin

leading it's sister car driven by 

JO SIFFERT

Pedro Rodriguez won the race teamed with Jackie Oliver

driving the 71 laps (1001,100 km) at the  average of 249,069 kilometres (154.721 miles)

Jo Siffert was teamed with Derek Bell and they finished 2nd.

passing the finish line less than ½ a second behind...

while the 3rd. car finished 4 laps behind!

Fastest lap: Jo Siffert " at a record average of 260,843 kilometres (161.556 miles)

Those great drivers gave once again the spectators an unforgettable  thrill.
