PORSCHE RACING 356 SPEEDSTER POSTER artist proof, rare

Here is one of the few remaining Artist Proof prints, submitted by the printer to the artist for approval for production.  This one is Number 2 of 5 Proofs, shown on the print as "AP2/5"  (indexed for the Artist as an Artist Proof).

This beautiful print is marked "Approved for publication, GCH 07/11/1993", so is the very one that was approved by Gregory Hall for production of the thousands of posters produced afterwards.  Ask me for additional photos of the signature and makers marks if you are interested.

20 X 30 inches. Mint condition, rare out of print sportscar automobilia.

The vintage GRAND PRIX sports car depicted is a 1957 PORSCHE 356 SPEEDSTER Carrera GS/GT race car, beautifully reproduced from original airbrush ART DECO graphic by Gregory Hall, produced by MOONLIGHT INK in Honolulu, and licensed by Porsche A.G.

Note: little black spots shown on the picture of the poster below are only treeleaf crumbs that blew onto the artwork when I took the picture, and not flaws. The Poster has a brilliant white background, not the bluetinted as appears here. Other graphics reproduced in authentic Porsche colors: Bali Blue, Ruby Red, and Black.
