POTTERY BARN BRAID RUG ~ SIZE 2 1/2 FT. BY 9 FT. ~ NEUTRAL

The allover pattern of our hand-tufted rug has nautical style and the textured look of rope. Its colored tones mix with ivory to give it a shaded appearance. Luster washed for softness and enhanced color. Hand tufted of pure wool. Use with our Premium Rug Pad (sold separately). Imported.

 

Cut Pile: 1/2" high

COMPOSITION & CONSTRUCTION
Gun tufted by hand of yarn-dyed 100% Indian wool with a pile, features a beige cotton canvas backing that is adhered with a synthetic latex. Synthetic latex is more durable than natural latex, and it will not cause problems to those people who are allergic to the proteins found in natural latex. Yarn-dyed rugs are rugs that are woven with pre-dyed yarns, and retain their color and quality over time. Finished with a high-luster wash, a chemical wash that creates an overall sheen and a unique coloration; this wash also assists in eliminating shedding. Rug is self-bound, which means that yarns are stitched around the backing than being bound with another fabric. The effective self-bound binding method results in a heavier weight that resists curling.

Bring a bold, textural look to the floor. Inspired by the thick braided ropes used on ships, our rug features an intricate weave-like design that is hand-tufted of pure wool. The repeating rows of our braid design has great depth and instantly updates a room.
