A MATCHING PAIR OF ANTIQUE, ca. 1920's, BOUDOIR LAMPS. THE GLASS SHADES ARE CRACKLED AND FROSTED, THE INTERIOR REVERSE ENAMEL PAINTED IN A MOTTLED BLUE-GREEN, THE EXTERIOR HAND ENAMELED IN PINK AND BLUE FLOWERS, AND GREEN LEAVES, OVER A BLACK OUTLINE. THE BASES ARE OF CHINESE STAND FORM AND MADE OF WHITE METAL WITH BLACK RUBBED IN THE HOLLOWS. BOTH WITH THEIR ORIGINAL BRASS SOCKETS, ASSEMBLY PULL CHAINS WITH TURN SWITCHES. [ONCE THE SWITCH ON THE CORD HAS BEEN TURNED ON, THE TURN SWITCH ON THE BASE CAN BE TURNED ON TO DIM OR ENHANCE THE AMOUNT OF LIGHT. AND THUS IN WORKING ORDER.] ORIGINAL? CORDS AND PLUGS. ONE MARKED ON THE FITTER RIM OF SHADE: HANDEL 7093 M.P., THE OTHER WITH ILLEGIBLE MARKS ON THE FITTER RIM.
