A LOVELY PAIR OF ANTIQUE, ca. 1890's, BISQUE PORCELAIN WALL PLAQUES WITH RAISED CLASSICAL FIGURES AND PETS. BOTH HAVE OVAL MATCHING SELF-FRAMES. SOFTLY HAND PAINTED PROFESSIONALLY. THE REVERSE OF ONE HAS A PALE MARK OF A STAR WITH ARROW (MAKER UNKNOWN, PROBABLY GERMAN.) HOLES AT TOP ARE CAST IN FOR HANGING A WIRE OR LOOP. THEY MEASURE 11-3/8" TALL BY 10" WIDE BY 3/4" DEEP. VERY GOOD CONDITION: BISQUE WITHOUT CRACKS OR CHIPS, HAND PAINTING UNWORN.
