THIS BEAUTIFUL URN OR JAR SHAPED VASE IS CLEARLY HALLMARKED ON THE UNDERSIDE WITH THE ,, PAUL REVERE LOGO , IMPRESSED INTO THE CLAY .. A HORSE AND RIDER , BOSTON AND PAUL REVERE POTTERY .... THE POTTERY MOVED IN 1915 TO BRIGHTON MASS AND CHANGED THEIR LOGO.. SO BOSTON IN THIS CASE MAKES THIS GORGEOUS VASE PRE 1915.. IT WAS THICKLY MADE OF LIGHT BROWN CLAY AND COVERED IN A MEDIUM BLUE GLAZE.. A SECOND THIN DRIP GLAZE THEN APPLIED AND ALLOWED TO RUN DOWN NEARLY TO THE FOOT OF THE VASE... I DO NOT KNOW IF YOU WOULD CALL IT CRYSTALLINE , IT IS VERY SUBTLE BUT YOU CAN SEE IT .. HUNDREDS OF LITTLE COMPARTMENTS OF QUIET CONTRAST .. IT WAS PURCHASED AT AN ESTATE AUCTION.. IT MEASURES 4 1/4 INCHES TALL BY 3 3/4 INCHES AROUND , AT ITS WIDEST.. THIS PIECE IS FROM THE SATURDAY EVENING GIRLS ERA I BELIEVE.. SEVERAL FLEA BITE NATURAL KILN POPS .. NO CRACKS OR CHIPS .. EXCELLENT CONDITION ..PLEASE SEE ALL FIVE ATTACHED PHOTOS...
