I G O R P A N T U H O F (1911-1972)
Born in Poland in 1911, he studied in Rome and Paris. He spent many years traveling and
studying, then returned to Paris. His work is superior in quality, the free play of his brush and the
glow of ethereal-like colors, place him among the finest “portrait painters”. His paintings are
vibrant, unusual. Igor received many honors in the very finest “Salons of Europe”. . . as well as
recognized in the United States….for his extraordinary talent ….
Igor died in 1972.
In our opinion, Igor's work 'speaks for itself'... It is apparent that he
painting pretty girls in different settings.
Some of Igor's paintings ended up in private collections--including ours--because they have an
an etheral quality....unlike any other. Other Igor paintings have been in private collections so
have not been available until now.
Our family loved them enough to gather a fine small collection of the very best of
his work. Friends and family often commented about them. They are unique....etheral.
