Secure Checkout may be started using any of the following methods:

Payment Policies

Checkout must be completed within 7 days of the close of auction, and all payments must be made within this time period.  If payment isn't received within this time period, per eBay protocol, an Un-Paid Item Dispute will be initiated sending a Non-Paying Bidder Alert to you as notification that payment is past due.

If you do not receive an email invoice within 24 hours of the auction end, please check your bulk email folder, as a spam filter may have prevented it from reaching your primary inbox.

Michigan Sales Tax

All local store pick-ups, all residents of the State of Michigan or items shipped to addresses within the State of Michigan will be charged 6% State of Michigan sales tax as applicable.

Payment Methods and Limits

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover as well as PayPal payments.  Please note that the maximum allowable credit card payment or PayPal payment is $1,500.00. Any auction payment greater than $1,500.00 must be paid via Wire Transfer or Cashier's Check drawn on a National or Regional US Bank.  Payment in excess of $1,500.00 may also be made via a PayPal eCheck.

Delay for eCheck Payment

If you pay with a PayPal eCheck, we will notify you that we have received the Notice of eCheck Payment.  Once the eCheck clears, usually 4-5 business days, we will professionally pack and ship your item.  If you receive an email (auto generated) as a reminder to pay during that timeframe, you may disregard as our systems do not recognize the eCheck as payment until it actually clears.  Look for both our email acknowledgements that we have received your eCheck and that the eCheck has cleared.

Shipping Policies

Prior to bidding, please review the shipping quote at the top of the auction and review the shipping information near the bottom of the auction to determine if the shipping quote and options offered meet your needs.  The shipping quote covers the full cost of shipping for all elements offered within the auction.  As an example, a set of 4 tires in an auction will be shipped for the shipping quote listed.  It is not necessary to multiply the number of elements in the auction times the shipping quote.

Buyer pays all shipping, insurance and delivery confirmation costs. Merchandise will ship within 3 to 5 business days of payment receipt & confirmation.

Our shipping quote is determined by the shipped weight and final overall dimensions of the item. In some cases, the shipping carrier adds a surcharge (dimensional weight) for oversized items. Items are prepared for shipment in our store, and include first-quality materials and professional packing services in accordance with Carrier Specifications. It is our intent to pack and ship your item so that it has a high expectation of safe arrival to you. Our shipping quote is designed to cover these costs.

For your security, we reserve the right, but are not obligated, to ship only to your PayPal Confirmed Address when paying via PayPal or the billing address on your credit card when paying via credit card.

Insurance

Shipping insurance is required for all items shipped via USPS. For items shipped via FedEx, shipping insurance is required for items shipped with a Final Auction Value of more than $100. On items with a final auction value greater than $100.00, indirect signature confirmation is required. On items with a final auction value greater than $250.00, direct signature confirmation is required. An adult signature is required on items required by the carrier, by law or that in our sole judgment are of a mature nature.

For auctions requiring multiple packages for delivery, insurance covering the final auction value will be divided equally among the packages. If a particular element of a multiple package auction has a higher relative value to you in comparison to other included elements, please contact us prior to completing the checkout.

Shipping Claims

• If you do not purchase shipping insurance for all items shipped via USPS or FedEx with Final Auction Values greater than $100.00,  then there is no recourse for items damaged in shipment.  We define items damaged in shipment as items received in a condition other than previously photographed.  Please, obtain this very inexpensive insurance to cover your hard won item and purchase. 

• Buyer is responsible for notifying Sold It - Ship It of "damage to an item" within 3 days of receiving the item or of a potential "lost item in shipping" in a timely manner.  Sold It - Ship It is solely responsible for initiating the claim with the Carrier. 

• The Buyer is Responsible for keeping all elements available for Return Pickup by the Carrier, including all original shipping materials as needed for Carrier Inspection.  Buyer will also make the item available for Carrier Pickup at Carrier Discretion, including re-packing of the item, if necessary.

• Insurance claim reimbursement, if any, is limited to the amount paid by the carrier.

Combined Shipping - US Addresses Only

We do offer combined shipping discounts to the same ship to address on auctions won within a 7 day period and paid at one time.  Prior to checkout, please send a My Message with the auction numbers you want to combine shipping.  The first auction won in the 7 day period will have the original shipping quote.  On each additional auction item won, we will reduce the shipping quote by: FedEx = $3.75 each: USPS Priority = $3.75 each: Local Pick-Up = $2.50 each: Items may or may not be shipped in the same box.  No discount on Media Mail or First Class Mail.

Local Pickup

This item is available for Local Store Pickup at our physical location in Grand Rapids, MI 49525, unless noted otherwise within the auction listing. All Local Store Pickup items are subject to a $5.00 Storage/Pickup/Insurance Fee and Michigan Sales Tax.  The Storage/Pickup/Insurance fee helps defray the storage costs of your item.  Michigan Sales Tax is collected as required, see Michigan Sales Tax section.

We do ship internationally on a limited geographic basis. If we ship to your home country, you are welcome to bid on our auctions. To ensure a safe and pleasant transaction, we have the following policies in place.

• You must pay via PayPal and have the item shipped to your Confirmed/Verified PayPal Address.

• We will fill out the customs forms with a correct item description, accurate price and listed as EBAY MERCHANDISE.

• We cannot label the item as GIFT or undervalue the item.

• You are responsible for any tariffs, duties or taxes imposed.  Import duties, taxes and other charges are not included in the item price or shipping costs.  These charges are the buyers responsibility.  Please check with your country's customs office to determine how much these additional charges will be prior to bidding.  Bid only what you are willing to pay including these charges, the final auction value and shipping/insurance costs.  These charges are normally collected by the shipping carrier who is making the delivery or when you pick the item up.  Do not confuse these charges for additional shipping costs. 

• We ship via USPS Priority International only.

• We do require that you purchase USPS insurance on the item in the amount of the greater of the Final Auction Value or US $51.00.

If the item is damaged in shipment, your claim is limited to the amount paid by the carrier, if any.

We cannot accept returns for any reason on international transactions.

If for any reason, at any point in this transaction, this item cannot be shipped, such as carrier or country restrictions, then we both mutually agree to end this transaction, your monies will be refunded, and no negative feedback will be given.

Our shipping charges are determined by the shipped weight of the item. We do offer combined shipping discounts to the same ship to address on auctions won within a 7 day period and paid at one time.  Prior to checkout, please send a My Message with the auction numbers you want to combine shipping.  The cost is calculated by weight per the USPS chart for your country plus a discounted $9.95 packaging material & labor fee for the first auction and a discounted packaging material & labor fee of $4.95 for each additional auction.  Items may or may not be shipped in the same box.

International Delays

Please, keep in mind that international shipments are subject to delay at various points along the way based on inspection, customs, or other regulatory requirements.

Return Policy

• All items are sold AS IS.

• Returns are accepted ONLY if the item is not as described in the auction description and auction photographs. Returns will not be issued based upon the buyers presumptions about the quality, nature, or contents of the auction item. Review the pictures for included elements and condition of the item. We are not responsible for components, parts, or accessories that are or are not (or you believe should be included) with a particular item. It is your responsibility to ask specific questions about the auction item prior to bidding. 

• Buyer must contact us at 616.365.2000 to initiate a return within 3 days of receiving the item.  No returns after 3 days!  No exceptions!

• All returns must be received with a clearly marked Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA#) and within 30 days of end of auction. 

• All shipped items are discretely marked for shipping and security purposes. We must verify the presence of these marks and compare the returned item to the auction photographs prior to issuing a refund. 

• Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges and payment service charges. 

• Upon refund, Sold It - Ship It will initiate a Mutual Agreement to End the Transaction for their refund of Final Auction Value Fees from eBay.  Buyer agrees to mutually agree to end the transaction within 48 hours of receipt of the refund.
