Miss Liberty













Miss Liberty is made from painted and aged muslin. She has a full round head with attached eyelids and painted eyes. Her nose is sculpted and I stitched her cute little mouth with red floss. Her face was then shaded and blushed for depth and to bring out her cute little personality. She has sheeps wool sewn on for hair and sculpted fingers.

Miss Liberty stands 22" and is securely attached to an antique beehive wooden bobbin. Her underdress is muslin and her overdress is an antique baby's dress/slip. It is very old and does have a couple of very small age stains. It is embroidered with tiny flowers on the bodice and the scalloped hem is embroidered. I did not age the dress as it has aged naturally to a nice creamy color. Her crown is made from stiffened mustard w/stars material.

Miss Liberty is holding an antique cotton flag. I did not age the flag either as it is naturally aged. I added an old-timey looking metal tag, stamped with USA, at the top of the flag.

Miss Liberty is OOAK and will come to your home signed and dated from Ragpatch Primitives. Please email me if you have any questions.
