This auction is for this finely handcrafted primitive Carriage Black mirror shown in the pictures! This is the very first time we have offered a mirror in this ornate style! We are starting it out well below our normal shop rate on a trial basis this week only. No reserve!

We do not often do actual reproductions of antiques, but when I saw a original 1800's chalkboard with this beautiful ornate frame I thought I have to build it! We made 2 mirrors (one black and one antique white) and 2 matching chalkboards in each color. We will have them all listed here on eBay by this weeks end! Each piece is loaded with detail to numerous to mention. The photos should show them clearly. A lot of time was spent handcrafting each one we made to assure the highest quality! I do not know if we will make more of these or not, depending upon the responce we have on them.

The professionial cabinet makers of Elk Wood Products built it right here in our shop in Springfield, Ohio! Great craftsmanship and attention to detail is what we do! This piece was built by Eric Tagg.

FEATURES:  The frame maesures 29" wide by 22" tall. The shelf is 1 1/2" deep from the wall. Keyholes were cut in the back for ease in hanging. The entire frame was made from a high quality Poplar wood. The finish is a lightly distressesd milk paint finish.

This piece was hand painted using the  Olde Century Colors Simulated Milk Paints which we also offer for sale here on Ebay. It was then distressed and finished using our Antiquing Liquid which gives it a beautiful aged patina look along with leaving a durable protectant.  The distressing process in no way effects the strength and durability of the cabinet.
