Offered here at NO RESERVE is a basic one color, two stage urethane re-paint for your motorcycle tank, tank and side covers, tank and fenders or tank, side covers and fenders, depending on your bike. This is a real offer. I have been an automobile painter since 1977. I have done production work, collision work, custom work, motorcycles, antique vending machines, antique gas pumps, vintage toys and more. I am a very consciencious person that is willing to put his work and reputation out there for whatever the market will bring. Why you may ask? For the last 2 years, I have been a fulltime ebay seller dealing in vintage toys, cars, guitars and more. It has been a very rewarding experience. I no longer do paintwork on a daily basis as I did for almost 30 years.  I have however continued to enjoy my craft refinishing old toys, a few specialty cars and more. I guess I just love to paint. Doing motorcycles allows me to deal with collectors worldwide.

The '74 Kawasaki 900 Z1 in the pictures is an example of the type of finish you can expect.

Here is what would be included in your winning bid -

Complete sanding and prep or your parts. I will strip them to bare metal if needed, then etch prime and seal.

Complete refinishing of your parts with PPG 2 Stage Catalyzed Urethane (basecoat/clearcoat) - one color, solid or metallic, your choice of color must be able to be mixed in PPG.

Wetsand and machine buff parts once cured, material costs included.

The final product will be a beautiful, deep, lustrous finish.

Shipping is not included.

If you require just one color and nothing additional, then you would pay only the winning bid, plus shipping. If the winning bid, is $25 for instance, you get yourself a great deal. I will not compromise the quality if the winning bid is low.  I am trying to expand my business. So if you are happy with the results, hopefully you will tell others.

Payment would work like this -

Once auction has ended and we have put all the details in order over the phone, I will not ask for a dime yet. You ship me the bare parts stripped of chrome, brackets, etc. Once received, I will do the repainting as discussed, sending you in-process pictures. Upon completion, I will send you detailed digital photos. Upon your satisfaction, I will then be paid in full including shipping costs by check or money order. Then I will ship parts back to you. I am confident in my abilities and am willing to put my ebay reputation of 1640 plus positive feedbacks on the line as this is an auction and we will leave eachother feedback when complete. My hope is that this will become a regular part of my business.
