late 19th century PUIFORCAT French sterling silver 2 persons
teapot finely decorated with "godrons" motifs and
ornated with a crown, original handle in wood. Crafted from
the highest quality silver, it weights
287 grams. The piece is stamped with the French Minerve
950 mark, and maker's mark (initials E.P and a penknife) for
famed Parisian silversmith Emile PUIFORCAT, who commenced trading
in 1857, rue Chapon, Paris. In
very good condition. A small dimple on the top and a scratch
near the mint mark.
