The Purple Smoke Tree is an easy to care for large shrub/small tree. It thrives in poor spoil, is drought tolerant and is hardy to -25f. Can be used as a focal point in your yard or garden also makes for a unique hedge/wind screen as it only grows to a height and width of 12-15 Feet. It is attractive Year-Round, Spring brings out the Deep Purple leaves and Summer brings out the Wispy Purple Flowers that actually look like Purple Smoke! The Purple leaves hold on well into Autumn then turn orange-ish before falling off as winter approaches. These plants are 16"-24" tall.
