You are bidding on a rare and hard to find Advance Reader's Edition / Advance Copy of the groundbreaking novel PUSH by Sapphire which has become the award winning and critically acclaimed film Precious.   

This Advance Reader's Edition / Copy (ARC) is marked as a first edition but was released before hitting the store shelves.  

What makes ARC's so desirable?:
- this is the first time that a book appears in print
- print run's are very limited making this by far the scarcest copy of the book

This is marked as "Advance Reader's Edition" on the cover and as an "Uncorrected Proof" and "Not For Sale" on the back cover.  

This is in unread condition... the spine has not been broken and the corners are sharp... the interior pages are crisp as well.  

PUSH is a heart wrenching  novel written as a stream of consciousness in the illiterate Harlem dialect of Precious Jones - an abused, overweight pregnant girl.  The movie adaptation "Precious" is backed by Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry and stars Mo'Nique and Mariah Carey.  It won numerous awards at sundance.
