"Guitare Sur Un Gueridon"
Upon the death of Pablo Picasso in 1973, his granddaughter, Marina Picasso, authorized the printing of 500 Lithographs. These lithographs are taken from carefully selected paintings, lesser known works, and drawings.
The lithograph is from the limited edition of 500 authorized by Marina Picasso and pulled by artist and colleague Laurent Marcel Salinas in Paris on 100% Arches Paper. Each is pencil signed and numbered by Marina Picasso and appears on the bottom right left of the lithograph.
Two genuine watermarks are embossed onto the bottom of each piece. The first reads: a limited edition after the work of pablo picasso The second is a stamp unique to each of the 500 lithographs
A stamp on the back of the lithograph reads in English and in Spanish: English: Limited edition re creation of an oil on canvas entitled "Guitare sur un gueridon" by Pablo Picasso created in 1920. Approved by the Heirs of Pablo Picasso. Spanish: Edition a tirage limite re-creation de huile sur toile intitulee "Guitare sur un gueridon" de Pablo Picasso creee en 1920. Approuve par les descendants de Pablo Picasso.
It has been stamped and verified Art Venture 1980.
