Pac Bay Elim Juniors 30-60lb 5ft 7in Alumuminum Butt

This is a custom crafted 5 foot 7 inch 30-60 lb stand up rod with Eliminator Jr roller guides and tip and a removable aluminum butt. This rod is powered by a Pacific Bay e-glass 30-60 lb blank. I built this rod to use for trolling, chunking  and live baiting. This is a light and powerful rod. I find this size and weight rod to be a very good multi species rod. Put a TLD 25 or 50 on it and there isn't a lot of fish you can't catch ..

The rod starts with a black and gold  Forecast aluminum removable butt. The aluminum butts are easy to get in and out of the rod holders on a boat, easy to take apart and transport and just look good. This rod has a 8 inch EVA custom shaped foam fore grip from Mooseskin. I used the shorter fore grip because the rods is shorter.  

The 5 roller guides are the Pacific Bay Eliminator Juniors these guide are manufactured for 30-70 lb line. They are gold with black aluminum side plates .. The tip is and Aftco large head black and gold roller tip .. I'm partial to the Aftco tips and i liked the look of the rod whit this tip on it .. and it had these tips in stock .. The Pac Bay guides and the Aftco roller tip will be perfect for any of the braided or mono lines.  Each guide is under wrapped in black thread to insure no metal to blank contact, then each guide is attached with 4 layers of C size thread, we use the C size thread to keep the bulk around the guides to a minimum and yet insure maximum strength. The rod is trimmed in a gold foil and has a unique black and gold foil peek a boo style fancy wrap .. The 30-60lb BaR-BaR rod blank is and eglass/graphite blend, light strong with a forgiving durable tip.   Guaranteed, this will be one of the first rods in the boat when you go fishing.  Don't let the good looks of this rod fool you .. it is a very light and durable rod with outstanding action.
