While sick the past few months recovery from throat surgery made me think of some weird stuff. Aching to paint I had so many images that poped in my head I jotted them down and this was the first created after recovery. "Just a Sip" Is a bit on the dark side as two beautiful young witches join together about to drink from a glass filled with a deep red concoction. The glass is being held by two mischevious devils. No smiles on the devils faces as they are anxious for the witches to drink quickly. Could this be a deadly potion or could the painting just be a symbol of bad intentions these witches may bring? Black backdrop flows into the witches bodies unseen. One blonde witch and a brunette one with eyes open the other with eyes shut. Nieve to what may happen to them they still move closer to the glass to take that one sip. What will happen? very inspired by french images from times past the deep dark secrets they hold. This is for the Serious Art collector. This is an original painting. No stencils or drawings were made on the canvas before paint was set down. Just me and the brush. Much time went into making this painting. If you love wicked witches this is the painting for you.
