This is a beautiful pair of cabinet plates, in very fine condition. Both bear Limoges marks, one GDF the other Haviland. The plates are identical, a white ground with a wide gilt band and four sprays of violets. The violets stem from the center of the plate, culminating in a glorious floral display within the gilt band. An unusual and sublime work of artistry. One of the plates bears the artist's initials. Please see photos for dimensions and marks, including the artist's initials.
