Check out this pair of original watercolors by Joan Arend Kickbush. Joan Kickbush was born March 23, 1926 in Wisconsin and died June 16, 2006 in Wisconsin, and was a popular Alaskan artist focusing on Alaska Native children, Arctic Wildlife, and Yupik villagers. Rather than painting with a brush, Kickbush used a palette knife, using the same palette knife for 25 years. The Siberian Yupik village of Savoonga on St. Lawrence Island was her most popular subject.
These two painting of a boy with his dog and girl with her doll are in great condition. The frames however have some nicks and scratches in them. The glass is in great condition and so are the paintings underneath. I have never taken them out of the frames and this is the way I recieved them.
The measurements on these paintings are 18" by 12 1/2" for the frames and 12" by 6 1/2" for the inside white part.
I will ship these paintings to the USA only because of all the extra handling they recieve when going overseas. I will package these painting very carefully with rigid foam insulation pieces so as to avoid any damage. They will be insured and shipped Priority Mail with Signature Confirmation.
