Hello and thanks for looking. Here we have a beautiful pair of Utah Dinosaur Bone Fossil slabs. This is from the late Ernest (Ernie) Shirley collection out of Hanksville, Utah. They are from the Morrison formation in the Colorado Plateau. It was a living animal during the Jurassic Period around 144 to 208 million years ago!

These nice calcite slabs have some very well defined cells!

The largest one measures about 3.25" x 3" at its biggest and both are 3/16" thick. There are a few hollow cells around part of the edge on one piece. They were photographed wet!
