My name is Melinda Dalke I am a folk artist living outside of Salem, Oregon. I am married to a wonderful man, and we have 8 four legged animal kids and some foster kittens. We have a Staffordshire Terrier and a Border Collie mix, four tame cats and 2 feral cats. I am originally from Las Vegas, Nevada where I graduated from the Community College of Southern Nevada with an Associates Degree in Graphic Arts. In the late 90s I decided to start painting. I am represented by The Palace Gallery in Oakland, Oregon. My paintings are in collections throughout the United States, Australia, Japan, Canada, France, Germany, England and Europe. I like to approach each painting differently, some call my art Naïve folk others whimsical folk. I am a proud member of WWAO, art helping animals, Wildlife Animal Artists, West Coast Art and Ebsq.
