This Amazing Palestinian Headdress called ( Wuqayat Al Darahim ) and was made back in the days in Hebron area,
Its a very old dowry hat made of cotton, embroidered in silk and fully covered with Turkish - Ottoman coins from the
18th and 19th centuries.
The hat's unique construction includes a back panel covered with coins, cowry shells and tassels, Extended from the
side panels are silver chains to which are attached pieces of amber and silver, Across the forehead are coral beads
and silver pendants suspended from short chains, Hanging from the temples are strands of carnelian.
