The "Piti Pan" Offers Authentic Calypso Sound With Only Half The Size.

The Pitipan is the newest addition to Trinidad & Tobago Instrument Company's steeldrum line. They are half the size of traditional steel pans, yet they retain all of the tonal characteristics. They have a bright and lively sound, like a steel drum should.

The Pitipan is handmade in Trinidad & Tobago, and made from steel that was especially designed to be used in the construction of steel drums. The drum suspends from a tubular PVC stand which is both strong & stable, yet extremely lightweight and portable.

The package also includes rubber-tipped wooden playing sticks, an informative booklet detailing the history of the steel drum, information about your individual steel drum and detailed instructions on proper playing form. The booklet will also teach you how to play a simple C scale and the following songs:
