Papaver Somniferum Poppy Huge Mix 5,000 seeds doubles

My seeds are home grown. Don't be fooled by sellers that are buying them at the grocery store and labeling them as home grown  poppies just to make a sale. There are only about 3 sellers on ebay who grow their own seeds, and I am one of them. I have been selling on ebay for about 10 years now.

This auction is for a mixed bag of seeds. Because of rainstorms this year, I lost many of my tags so I simply put all the seeds together in one container. This will be a surprise mix. I cannot say for certainty how many of each seed will be in each packet.. I also have other colors.   The seeds germinate freely and you will never have to buy them again, unless you want other colors. Your plants will produce so many seeds that they can be easily used for baking, hence the nickname "breadseed poppies".

Naturally resistant to Predators. Deer proof.

Germination testing on this years seeds were a complete sucess. I have about 95% germination

I will send 1/2 teaspoon. I'm not counting them, you can. I will include  the planting instructions with every order.

It is nearly impossible to count out thousands of poppy seeds.

The generally accepted measurements are as follows:

1/8th teaspoon - 1000 seeds

1/4th teaspoon - 2000 - 2500 seeds

1/2 teaspoon - 5000 seeds

The above seed count is an average for ALL poppy seeds. I am selling them by the measuring spoon method only and do not guarantee the exact number of seeds!!

It is next to impossible to count poppy seeds.

It is generally accepted that 1/8th teaspoon equals approx 1000 seeds up to a teaspoon full containing 8 to 10 thousand seeds.

Shipping: Buyer pays shipping. I will gladly combine shipping on 2 or more items. I charge $2.00 for the first bag of seeds and then .50 for each bag of seeds thereafter up to a maximum shipping amount of $7.50 for anything under 50 bags of seeds.

Checkout: I use checkout only. I do not send after auction e-mails. It is the buyers responsiblity to complete the checkout form within 3 days of the auction's end.
