Boyd, Editor Publisher: Princeton University Press Pub Date: 1952 Binding: Gray Cloth Hardcovers Dimensions: 6.5 x 9.5 inches  This four-volume ex-library set of the writings of Thomas Jefferson is bound in a blue-gray cloth with gold gilt on the spines. The shelfwear is extremely light, putting them in a "very good" classification if not for the little library stickers on the lower end of the spines. There appear to be no other library treatments. The pages, text, and the plates depicting Jefferson's documents are all clean, legible and intact. Altogether this is a nice, crisp copy. The four volumes span the years 1760 through 1781, falling just about six years short of the Constitution's ratification, but nevertheless including an impressive array of the Founding Father's works.
