Physical Description:

As soon as I saw this Paraiba Black Tourmaline I knew it was not your usual run-of-the-mill Black Tourmaline. The superb lustre of these striated beauties along with their solid and complete structure easily showcases their phenomenal quality! It's not everyday that one is blessed with such exquisite beauty and quality!

Exceptional lustre to this Black Tourmaline, aka Schorl, crystal! The reflective nature of this jet black, striated treasure aids in masking all this crystal offers on camera. As this mineral is relatively soft, a few small empathy nicks can be found on the edges. As you can see in the pictures, a smattering of crystallization can be seen along one side. The long form of this gem allows for an awesome fit in the hand, excellent for use during meditation. The pictures just DO NOT fully capture the exquisite form, lustre and beauty of this phenomenal piece! This is a gorgeous crystal and a must for all healer's apothecaries!

Metaphysical Description:

Schorl, according to ancient lore, is excellent for grounding, inducing deep, restful, dreamless sleep, and for cleansing the physical, auric and etheric bodies. It promotes deep and clear serenity and safety allowing individuals to come together equally to achieve desired goals or results. Schorl draws white light deep into the base chakra and is the 'Hercules' of minerals, but its humble quality makes it nearly invisible as a light worker. It is the most important tourmaline for overall healing purposes.

Brazilian crystals are said to have the special quality of enhancing the projection of energy over a distance. For distance healing then, their presence strengthens the transmission of energy from other crystals!
