Paul McCobb Brass & Vitrolite Glass Console/Sofa Table

You are viewing a wonderful Paul McCobb for Calvin Brass & White Vitrolite Glass Console or Sofa Table, c 1950s.  This simple hard-to-find design includes a rectangular brass base (made of lightweight square tubing) and a 1/2 Inch White Vitrolite Glass Top.  There is one underside chip on the glass, which is on the side and not too noticeable (see photo).  Glass top is in otherwise great condition, aside from some minor surface wear.  Brass-framed base has some aging, as well as some chemical streaking, probably due to brass cleaner used years ago (see photo).  This table would be great under a large picture window, used as a sofa table, as a hall console or even a coffee table.  It measures 72" L x 18"D x 21 1/2"T.  In-Store pick-up available or you can get a shipping quote at Plycon Van Lines, 773.640.5110 (plycongroup.com).
