1985 Racing Season in Trans Am Nissian

  • This 2 DVD set is copied from an original VHS tape made during the 1985 season by a member of the crew. The second DVD has about 15 minutes of video on it.  The orginal VHS tape would not fit on one DVD.
  • This video was not made available to the general public until now.
  • The video includes races at Road Atlanta, Elkhart Lake, Detroit Grand Prix, and Mid Ohio among others.
  • There are several sequences of cockpit camera shots during the race.  This includes the Detroit Grand Prix when it was held on the streets of Detroit.
  • It is not narrated and is an original 1985 vintage recording made on equipment of the time so in come cases the quality is not good.  After the opening sequence at Road Atlanta the quality does improve
  • Paul Newman Racing with the Bob force racing team.  Paul Newman is racing a Nissan specially prepared for Trans Am racing.
  • The tape was made for Bendix fuel injection employees and given to them as a gift at the end of the season
  • Copy was made on Sony DVD equipment and should play back on any video DVD player.
