Dieter K. Huzel worked on Hitler's V-2 Rocket program during World War Two. After the war he was moved to the United States along with other German rocket scientists to assist the American military in developing workable rockets. His expertise was important both to the fledgling American military rocket program and then to NASA, where he helped to develop the Saturn rocket booster which sent the Apollo astronauts to the moon. Huzel occupies an important slot in both military and aviation history, as well as for playing a key role in humanity's first visit to another celestial body. Most experts feel that Huzel's expertise and importance in the U.S. space program was second only to that of Werner Von Braun. This book is inscribed and autographed by Dieter K. Huzel. It is, in itself, an important piece of history, written and autographed by the hands which both launched rockets at England for Adolph Hitler and sent twelve men to the moon for the United States. The book spans a piece of history which changed the world forever, and is autographed by the man who, for better or worse, was instrumental in making that change.
