Pelikan Limited Edition Golf Fountain Pen #1961/4500

This limited edition pen was introduced in the mid '90's, and is virtually sold out worldwide.

This is the Pelikan Golf Limited Edition of 4500 pieces - this is No. 1961. The Limited Edition number is engraved on the clip ring. This beautiful, mint  fountain pen has the standard Pelikan piston filling system and has an 18ct gold nib embelished with rhodium and with a medium point.  As with all Pelikan Limited Editions, this pen is destined to increase in value in the near future. I stopped at a local place in Philly that sells high end fountain pens, and they said it has a recommended retail price in the U.K. of £575 or $950.00.

This was a gift 13 years ago, and I know was VERY expensive. I used it once or twice (to sign a home purchase was the only time I remember), and it was put away and never used again. It is in mint condition. I have a Pelikan box, but not the original one.

So, I will part with it now - times just require me to.
