Up for bid is a set of six pearl handle table knives in as new condition contained in a green felt wrap from the  "S. F. Thomas, Pendleton, Indiana" variety store.  Each knife is marked "Sterling" on the ferrule and  "L. F. & C. Universal" (Landers, Frary and Clark) on the blade. An accompanying horse and buggy era photo of  Pendleton, Indiana verifys both the S. F. Thomas store and the circa 1900 vintage. The felt wrap is in very good condition with some fraying on the tying ribbon.  This set will be shipped so as to protect both the wrap and the knives.
