PC served the states of Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Quebec, Virginia and West Virginia.

Trackage includes routes utilized by the Broadway Limited, Buckeye, General, Admiral, Paul Revere, Pennsylvania Limited, Manhattan Limited, Fort Pitt, Golden Triangle, Penn Texas, Valparaiso Commuters, South Wind, Chicago Mercury, Commodore Vanderbilt, Pacemaker, Twentieth Century Limited, Wolverine, and many other fine trains at various times.
