Named for the Latin word for butterfly, PENTAX Papilio 6.5x21 binoculars are the perfect choice for insect observation in the field and in museums and galleries. The enhanced observation capability of the Papilio binoculars is made possible by a PENTAX Convergent Lens Optical System Engineering (CLOSE) mechanism. The CLOSE mechanism automatically slides the left and right objective lenses toward the center when the focus is fixed at a short distance.

Available in 6.5x21 and PENTAX Papilio 8.5x21, each PENTAX Papilio model offers a minimum focusing distance of approximately 1.6 feet and incorporates new design technology that automatically compensates for the misalignment of right and left image fields at close ranges. Featuring fully multi-coated optical elements, high-refraction BaK4 glass prisms, a long 15 millimeter eye relief, and a protective rubber housing, Papilio is a great choice for spectator sports, hiking and travel as well.

Shipping in the lower 48 continental U.S. is FREE, NY State addresses add 8.875% sales tax. I will accept credit cards if I am shipping to the U.S.A. billing address of that card.  We only accept paypal from confirmed paypal addresses.
If you are outside of the USA we only accept paypal. Please contact us before bidding for a shipping quote. It is $44.90 shipping to most major cities in Europe and Asia. Foreign buyers may have import duty. It is $25.00 shipping to Canada.
