Product Information
The Pentax ME Super had lots of the features available on the standard SLRs of its time. The viewfinder was excellent, featuring coverage of 94% of the image frame and a magnification of .92X. The camera featured a self-timer, and there was a selector ring around the shutter release that allowed selection of shutter-speed settings of Auto, Manual, 125 (flash sync) and B. There was an optional motorized winder available for the camera, as well as a digital data back which imprinted date/time and frame number on the film.

You're bidding on a black Pentax ME Super. There is no reserve.

Cosmetic condition of this camera is decent, not great. There are a fair number of scratches, bumps, and brassing. Working condition is very good. I replaced the light seals and mirror bumper foam, and there is presently a working battery in the camera. The advance lever sometimes feels a little loose, or seems to want a nudge back into place, but the shutter is in good shape and works at all speeds. The focusing screen is clear, though it has a few smudges near the top--probably a bit of dirt from the disintegrating foam that afflicts these cameras (this one is not my first). It doesn't interfere with framing and focusing. I have taken many rolls of film with this camera, and results have been excellent. But consider it a vintage item, and this an as-is auction.
