Fun and Colorful Pattern, Great for Stripes! - Peppermint Stix
Peppermint Stix is a fun pattern for making a bold statement with color and stripes.
Intermediate level - the sewing is all easy - squares, half-square and quarter-square triangles, but you do have to keep track of the directions of your stripes. Or, try it without stripes - you'll still get a wonderful lattice effect!
Yes, the binding is finished off with prairie points - I tell you exactly how to get this effect.
Pattern includes the instructions for the 38" x 38" quilt shown on the cover plus a 62" x 74" bed quilt and a 14" x 52" runner.

Please note I am the designer and copyright owner of this pattern.
I have been designing quilt patterns since 2002. My designs are characterized by ease of construction, the use of large pieces of fabric, and the use of a large-scale fabric. My trademark design element is the diagonal line, which makes all my designs dynamic, interesting, and somewhat different from traditional quilt patterns. Although I do make use of computer tools in the process, I start all my designs with pencil sketches in my notebook, which is a notebook of gridded graph paper. If it can be drawn on graph paper, it can easily be sewn into a quilt!
Since 2002, I have designed and written over 30 different quilt pattern titles, of which nearly 60,000 copies have been sold. I've also designed original quilts for many fabric companies. Please note that all my patterns are copyrighted material and may not be reproduced, whether for profit or not, without my written permission.
