The Letter Opener

This unique 1.5" diameter 5.5" long letter opener is made of durable 1/8" thick pewter metal which is easy to clean with a damp cloth.

The Image

The image on this key chain is a high resolution photo of a volleyball ball. It is photographed with a light source in the upper corner so the shadow makes it look 3-dimensional. The image can be personalized with a name or initials.

The Process

We use a process called Sublimation which permanently imprints an image into the surface of a specially coated product. The inks used are actually dyes and are heated to 400 degrees fahrenheit by a special heat plate and then pressed into the item at 40 to 80 psi (pounds per square inch) for a specific amount of time to allow the dyes to penetrate the surface of the product. This process provides a vivid and lasting image on the item which is extremely difficult to remove.
