Perthshire Paperweight 1977 PP31 Millefiori Limited Edition paperweight. International bidders welcome!!!! Hello, you are bidding on a beautiful large size Perthshire Paperweight designated as PP31. It is a limited edition weight with a center complex cane, nine radial twists which separate cane groups of 1-1-2-3, circled by a ring of twists and then completed by an outer ring of canes. They are all set on a beautiful translucent cobalt blue ground. In fact, the blue is slightly more marine, giving the paperweight a more glowing feel with the light shining through. I have included several photographs, very different in appearance, so that you can see the vividness of the cobalt blue with the light shining through when the paper weight is standing on a plexiglass base and the complexity of the cane pattern when the weight is resting on its base. It is signed and dated with its cane on its base, p1977. It is a limited edition although how many were actually made appears to be unknown. The weight is in very fine condition for its age, but it does have a few very tiny dot size marks on the globe which cannot be seen without my magnifier and cannot be felt in the glass. I am very persnickety about my paperweights' descriptions which is why I mention this to you. However, I do think that this weight is a superb example of Perthshire's unique millfiori designs at their best. Please email if you have any questions. Shipping within the US is 8.00. Buyers from outside will need to have their rates calculated at auction's end. Please check my other auctions to save on shipping. Thank you for looking in and happy bidding!!!!
