From DC Comics, the history of their Atlantis. Here's one of the better post-Crisis DC comics. This miniseries covers the history of Orin, Atlan, and others in between, in a chronicle of how DC's Atlantis sank, how they adapted, the war between science and magic, and all the intrigue therein, each issue told by a different generation of "chronicler" with their own interpretation, written by the acclaimed Peter David(the Hulk and many others) and drawn delectably by Eurocomics legend Esteban Maroto.This set also includes, to bring it up to the present, THE LEGEND OF AQUAMAN by Keith Giffen, Curt Swan and, very early in his career, AGE OF BRONZE and OZ's Eric Shanower.

This complete set (never reprinted) comprises all 7 issues of the miniseries, as seen below, plus the aforementioned special. I would grade them, conservatively, at VF, though most are closer to VF-NM. I am the original owner and have kept them carefully in bags, literally, since they came out.
