Peter Jackson in Perspective: The Power Behind Cinema's The Lord of the Ring
A Look at Hollywood's Take on Tolkien's Epic Tale
by Greg Wright
SIGNED by the author on the title page
Greg Wright is an ordained minister with degrees in Theology, English Literature and Computer Science. This book was largely inspired by his work as the chief editor and contributor for the Lord of the Rings pages at HollywoodJesus.com. Along with his wife, Jenn, Greg also directs a drama ministry, Dramatic Insights, and a movie review web site, Past the Popcorn. Pastor Wright is also very active as a lecturer at Colleges and Universities.
Like Saruman, we might think that power of any sort, whether it's the Ring or film, is something we may harness without coming under its control or influence. And we would be wrong. If we dare to approach the power of film, we would be wise to handle it with care and, like Gandalf or Aragorn, to be wary when we are in its presence. Yet we may agree with Gandalf that there is "something else at work, beyond any design of the Ring-maker. ...And that may be an encouraging thought." --From Wright's Preface

I Gladly Combine Shipping Whenever Possible
Due to recent eBay policy changes, Payment is by PayPal only. PayPal easily lets you use your Credit or Debit Card, plus they provide an e-check option. Please be aware that if you choose the e-check option, your shipment will be delayed until the check clears.
See the shipping calculator below for shipping options and cost, which includes Delivery Confirmation (when available). I usually use Media Mail as my primary shipping choice. Please note that Media Mail is rated by the Postal Service at 2-9 BUSINESS days. In other words, a package sent across country can take two weeks or longer. APO's, NPO's, Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories can take eight weeks or longer. If this is not satisfactory, please select a faster service when paying. If you would like a US Postal Service option that is not listed, please contact me and I will consider it. Unless otherwise indicated, insurance is optional. However, I cannot be responsible for uninsured packages that are damaged or misdirected.
International Buyers please note: Priority Mail International Flat Rate (envelope) and First Class International are not insurable.
