Here is the deal! This is a brand new Phase II tool post I got with some other tooling and have no need for. I already have one of these on both my lathes and the one shown in the photo is on a South Bend 9N and is not the one for sale. This size is recomended for use on 9-12" lathes. However I have one on a 14" LeBlond so this size can work with a 9", 10", 11", 12" 13" or 14" lathe. This is the 100 size tool post which is the same as the Aloris AXA size. The nut that comes with this tool post will need to be machined to fit the compound of your lathe. However, if you want I will machine it for you. Just send me the dimensions of the T slot in your compound at the end of the auction. If you buy a new tool post from Aloris, they will also machine the nut for you but you will pay several hundred dollars. In order to use this tool post tool holders are needed and they are often available on Ebay or can be bought from a company called CDCO for about $9.00 apiece. This type of tool post is a big up grade from the original old South Bend tool post.
