What is PhotoEZ? (pronounced photo ease)
PhotoEZ™ is a unique material made from fine silkscreen material coated with light sensitive water-soluble polymer.
Take your basic silkscreen, remove the metal or wooden frame, do away with all those nasty chemicals and what do you end up with? PhotoEZ, a simple yet innovative product for creating custom silkscreen. And because it's based on the old tried and true method of silk-screening and photography, it's much more versatile then plastic stencils.
However, unlike conventional silk-screening that relies on complicated chemicals and block-out paint, our product is coated with a light-sensitive plastic that only requires sunlight and plain tap water to develop. This allows you to create custom stencils with unheard of details. All without ever having to spend hours upon hours cutting out your own. Plus, since PhotoEZ comes in flexible sheets, it can be used on a number of surfaces and with a large variety of paints, even glass etching creams.
