V - Nailer Kit

Picture Framing

Used for joining mitred (45 degree) joints.

This item is relatively new to the Australian market, but  is very popular in the UK etc. It is primarily a hand held V nail insertion tool. It has a magnetic tip and a retractable plastic V nail guide. It would be best used in conjunction with a mallet. There is also a slot in the handle of the tool, which can be used for inserting screw eyes. 560 V nails are also included.

  • Assemble the 4 sides of the frame ... check to see if the mitres are correct, and are going to produce an acceptable joint.
  • Re- assemble with pva glue, and clamp. ( a strapclamp is usually best)
  • Tip:   Let the glue dry overnight... insert V - nails the next day.

Due to requests for a larger quantity of V nails ... I have added extra V nails

The original 200 V nails have been removed and replaced with  560 V nails.
