This is an
exceptional watercolor painting by astounding artist Robert MacIsaac entitled “Pink
Flowers.” Light pink flowers emerge from the green foliage
surrounding them and this impressive work of art combines soft, blended colors with solid
lines, making it evident that this watercolor was created by a truly
professional artist. The color that the artist used makes them jump from the
picture. The
cream color surrounding the flowers is very pleasing to the eye and brings
attention to the detail within the painting.
The
exquisite and expensive frame and mat are individually crafted and designed by
Le Chateau’s professional in-house artist. Enhancing the detail and colors in
the painting, this piece by Robert MacIsaac is matched with a light wood frame
with a reddish-brown striped stained frame. The light dusty pink top mat
further compliments the watercolor, bringing out the red and pink tones in the
work. The army green bottom mat brings sophistication to the terrific
watercolor painting. This unique watercolor painting and delightful frame
measure 18” x 21.” This exceptional watercolor painting is signed by the artist
in the lower right, authenticating the original work.
Robert MacIsaac was born and raised
in Detroit, MI.In October of 1925, he came into this world, and from an early age
exhibited outstanding artistic talent. MacIsaac served overseas in the American
Army in World War II, in both the Philippines
and New Guinea.
He returned to Michigan
after his service had ended, where he gained widespread recognition for his
spectacular landscapes and his unique, artistic realism in maritime paintings.
MacIsaac was also a renowned graphic designer, with his work including the Seal
of the City of Novi.
Later in life, he moved to North Carolina and
then to Clearwater, FL, where he continued to develop his
extraordinary talent producing unrivaled oils and watercolors in his favorite genre
of landscape and maritime seascapes. MacIsaac died in Clearwater, FL,
in December of 2000, and is celebrated for his outstanding artistic
achievements. Unfortunately, his lifetime output of work only reached about 600
pieces, which includes paintings, drawings, etc. When compared to other
artists, this is considered to be on the low end of the scale; however, any of
his pieces are bound to increase in value because of this limited output.
