Note: This is a stretched watercolor painting. The paper is stretched over stretcher bars and after the painting was done it was varnished.

This means, you don't need to frame it, the edges are painted, it can hang without a frame. Of course a frame always looks great, but if you chose a frame you don't need to frame the painting behind glass.
