Cindy has worked as a professional artist, illustrator and designer since 1992. She expresses her whimsical, colorful style in a variety of media including pencil crayon, block prints, watercolor, pen and ink and whatever medium strikes her fancy. Collage is a also a passion. Cindy enjoys observing people and incorporating their unique expressions and personalities into her work.
In her spare time, Cindy works in her home studio, painting, printmaking and making pottery, often while listening to old blues or indy rock and finishing off a pot of coffee.

Pinups and the Madonna
Altered Bamboo Beads
THE MATERIALS: You are bidding on set of altered bamboo beads. The set is a mixed lot of vintage Latino pinups, and the Madonna. Images are meant to look vintage. Each image is hand placed and the bead is sealed with a waterproof varnish. Each bead is drilled in two spots top to bottom so the beads may be strung as a bracelet, or can be used on your altered books, or any art project. These also make great individual pendants for necklaces.
Beads measure .75" wide by 1.75" tall. There are 6 beads in this set. Back of the bead is blank, but a pretty wood grain shows on the light colored bamboo. Beads are very lightweight.
