Introducing the original and improved Super
Puck by Pla-Rite. The Super Puck is like three pucks in one: it is flat like
a puck with a small riding surface; it is round like a ball with
no sharp edges; and is weighted like a bean bag to give you true
hockey-like action.
The Super Puck is a hollow puck made of high-tech plastic that allows
it to be played with from the hot pavement in the summer to
the ice covered ponds in the winter. The puck is filled with plastic beads that give the puck a
low center of gravity. This allows the puck to hug the ground and limits the floating problems that plague many of the hollow pucks on the market today. The puck is made with rounded edges that permit the puck to
ride over most bumps and imperfections on the pavement.
And, the Super Puck collapses on impact, thereby virtually eliminating
any possible injuries. The puck is also designed with holes on the side
of the puck designed to release air on impact.
There are three different pucks available based on the players age
and ability. All three pucks are designed and manufactured the same,
with the only difference being the thickness of the puck wall.
Yellow: the softest and is designed
for younger players, from first to fifth grade.
Blue: medium soft and is designed
for children from the sixth grade to tenth grade. This puck is firmer
which enhances the stick handling and passing characteristics of
the puck.
Orange:
the firmest of the three for children in the eleventh grade and above
and increases the stick handling and passing from the blue puck.
Great for Ice, Street, Floor, Pond and Roller Hockey.
