What is true-bypass, and why is it important for your tuning pedal?
True bypass means the signal from your guitar passes directly to the
output connection. That means: No distortion from internal circuitry;
No noise from the tuner. You get pure, clean sound!
What other benefits do I get with the PW-CT-04? The large,
well lit display, means it easy to read, even from a distance, even in
reduced lighting. The rugged, die-cast metal body, means you don't
have to baby it and you'll get years of use. For stage use, the pedal
features a muted output so you can tune-up in complete silence. The
easily switchable tuning modes (standard sweep, or flowing strobe)
means you get to choose which mode works best for you.
Accuracy and Adjustment: The Planet Waves Pedal Tuner is
accurate to withing +/- 3 cents, giving great results without driving
you crazy! You can adjust the tuner's calibration +/- 5 Hz from the
standard of 440 Hz.
The PW-CT-04 requires one 9-volt battery, or an AC Adapter (optional, see my other listings).
